Well, Yellowstone was our last real adventure of the trip and now its just a matter of driving home. Tonight we are staying in Bozeman, Montana. From here we have roughly two days of commuting left before we hit Vancouver. We expect lots of mountain scenery, but no particular stops of interest on the way. I can't believe it's almost over now!

While filtering water from the nearby pond, a brown trout swam nearby. We all watched for minutes. Then we set down for dinner, rice and bean jambalaya followed by hot chocolate. After cleaning up, brushing teeth, and hanging our food, we went for a pre-bedtime stroll up a nearby knoll. Then we snuggled into our sleeping bags and read some more by headlamp before closing our eyes.

... We quickly got into the groove by seeing all the descriptions and decorations that adorned the cages - clearly the result of hard work, creativity and pride from the 4H/FFA kids. I was soon "gettin all FFA'd up" by speaking with the kids and watching how they were handling and caring for their livestock in preparation for the auction, which was just hours away. ... the show sounded good so off we traipsed to the planetarium. While I learrned a lot, like what star is considered the north star changes over the course of 1000's of years, it was a pretty slowly paced show. It is pretty bad when even John and I said it was a bit boring.
