While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. That's all for now. Sorry if you found this post boring, but sometimes you just gotta gloat. Love you ...
... with forged iron, world tournament standard horse shoe pits, 3 flat screen TVs for multiple game watching, and a kegerator soon to be walk in cooler (oh and free wifi too!). But more impressive than all the bells and whistles at this man cave are the good men that converge here. While some can be a little rough around the edges, they are all gentlemen at the core and have welcomed me with open arms ...

... as I have
no money and there are way too many places I want to see before this.
But I will defiantly try and backpack thru the country one day. The only
negative factors I can really tell are the language barriers, and the
possibility of getting killed. But that is pretty much anywhere these
days. But from everything I can gather there isn't any reason if given
the chance why I wouldn't go and check these mountains out.
... car return and it was time for dinner.
We walked 30mins to midtown to a fantastic southern style restaurant called Mary Mac's Tea Rooms which was established in 1945. Great southern food; fried chicken, shrimp and grits, cheese and vegetable soufflé, mac 'n' cheese (but not as you know it). A rather popular restaurant as we understand it.
We look forward to exploring Atlanta tomorrow.
Cheers, the Berrys
