      On the road home

A travel blog entry by dkauten on Feb 15, 2015

Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

... other boats and some of our absolutely lovely crew. Sorry-O, but we had the best crew, Mates! This was by far my favorite experience I have had in a while and I'm beyond words on how thrilled I am to have met such an amazing group of women and sharing this unforgettable trip with them. I learned something from each and every one, and I look forward to the day our paths cross again. May your beauty last forever ladies. Quality not quantity. And only with selfishness can one truly ...

I have been trying to prepare myself to go broke for nearly a month now, so hey, it looks like I'll be doing a great job at that!

Traveling is the one occasion where I can really be totally calm. I always feel like with traveling, ...

... it (and so did we)! Apparently they don't load 'connecting bags' until you've checked in for your flight -- who knew?

      Planes, Trams and Automobiles

A travel blog entry by jenchuck76 on Jul 24, 2014

Or day started with a quick couple of errands on the way out of town, and then driving to Chicago. Erica, the fabulous woman that she is, set us up to park in her company's garage and even got us hooked up with a free shuttle to O'hare! We were greeted with the smell of Auntie Anne's immediately upon cleaning security, so with that in our bellies, we headed on ...
