      ... but it was so hot and humid the air was oppressive. I am really beginning to love the Tucson heat.

      I've been meaning to write about the corn fields. Since we entered Nebraska we have seen corn fields everywhere. As far as the eye can see there are corn fields in every state we have been in. Corn fields next to factories, corn fields next to tracts of homes, they are tucked in wherever they will fit. Amazing!
