Day 9 - Lola's and Malibu Paul's Last day
... on...i was floundering and my shoulders were still pretty sore, but I continued to try when I should have just gave back the board. Lesson learned. (It is Wed now and I have not surfed since). We got a nice sunset and just ate at Joe's and kept it chill. We hung out on the roof talking story and joking. It was great having Malibu Paul here.

Field Work and a few highlights
... meeting regarding turning the marine station into a green, energy efficient building, as well as creating a new community center here in playa grande with such innovations as a green roof in order to set an example for the rest of Costa Rica. Pretty cool stuff! Also a family is arriving anytime now that will be living in the duplex next door to us. If we're lucky they'll be helping us out with the morning and night walks!
