    On the fourth day, we took a hike to the Rio Celeste River. On the way there, our tour guide stopped at a kapok tree. These trees look much different than any other tree. Their trunks are woven around each other, and have rounded edges instead of sharp ones.

    ... at 3pm. You do not want to get lost in the forest in the dark. In fact, the park ranger writes down your information & when you return, you need to let them know you are back.

    Tonight we were eating at the restaurant so we could say "goodbye" to everyone. E-mail addresses were exchanged with the promise to keep in touch. We will for sure be returning in the next few months ~ Until next time, Pura Vida!

    Two quirky things about his place. 1. We found not one but 2 scorpions in the shower (Morgs totally lost the plot). 2. There was also a Penrith Panthers NRL towel hanging over the shower curtain. We were not the first Aussies in this neck of the woods. : )
