    ... mignon. The girls had a strawberry smoothie (choices were mango, pineapple, watermelon), Roger and I both had the local beer called "Imperial". For supper the girls ordered Filet Mignon, mashed potatoes, veggies. Roger had the blackened Mahi Mahi and I had a spinach salad with organic goat cheese and Costa Rican berry vinaigrette. Delish!     I woke up, walked outside, and noticed a toucan flying over my head. I already knew this trip was going to be an amazing experience. I sat outside taking in the warm air and bright sunshine, getting excited for my zip lining adventure today with my family.

    My family and I started getting our sneakers on, and headed into the car to go to Pura Adventura. I couldn't wait to see the beautiful landscape of Costa Rica from enormous heights.

    We met a young man named Minor the first day in Tamarindo as he and his daughter were walking the beach together. He asked about surfing lessons and it was kismet! Cher and I went back just for him the next day for me to check off surf lesson from my list of things to do in Costa.

    Two quirky things about his place. 1. We found not one but 2 scorpions in the shower (Morgs totally lost the plot). 2. There was also a Penrith Panthers NRL towel hanging over the shower curtain. We were not the first Aussies in this neck of the woods. : )
