    ... passed a restaurant that we will try tonight or tomorrow. Playa Junquilla has mostly Ticos in it and as you get closer to the beach the houses start to become more westernized - we are thinking this is where the expats live/vacation. We arrive at the hotel and it very small and right on the beach. We just missed the sunset that happens around 5:30 pm.     We met a young man named Minor the first day in Tamarindo as he and his daughter were walking the beach together. He asked about surfing lessons and it was kismet! Cher and I went back just for him the next day for me to check off surf lesson from my list of things to do in Costa.

    Two quirky things about his place. 1. We found not one but 2 scorpions in the shower (Morgs totally lost the plot). 2. There was also a Penrith Panthers NRL towel hanging over the shower curtain. We were not the first Aussies in this neck of the woods. : )
