    ... br> Not to be outdone, that road had a detour as well and I ended up outsmarting myself by ignoring it, since when I entered Luzenac feeling smug about having avoided all the traffic, I soon learned that I had to backtrack to reach our hotel, which was on the edge of town and right on the detour route I had avoided!

    ... gave way beneath my feet and I went down with a wallop. "Bother" I thought, that hurt. So I sat there amongst the sheep and goat droppings waiting for the pain to ease, then I tried reading my map to see if that would distract me from the pain and eventually I felt able to stand up.     In cafe now trying 2.50 pint for research purposes.
    The frontier with Spain is just at edge of Andorra la vella and its a long way to Spanish coast up and down many mountains. You would want good brakes and not be scared of sheer drops at edge of road.
    It must be beautiful during skiing season but I would recommend it in Summer too they have a lot of building crammed into gaps between the hills. ...
