We've been in Goa for two days now. It's definitely more Westernised than Mumbai but there's certain Indian attitudes that prevail. ... in and a bit of brekkie i wondered down to the beach with my 2 room mates from Australia, as we are coming up to the monsoon season the sea was rough and pretty dangerous to actualy go in so we just walked along the beach for a few minutes until the torrential rain started, however even when it rains over here due to the humidy its still warm and you are never wet for that long.

... and the stupid thing followed us on to this tiny ledge, I hissed at it like a mad woman and tried to bark it away but it just looked and me blankly and didn't move! At this point the tide was coming all the way in and there was nowhere else to go but up so I started clambering as fast as I could up this mud bank & rocks the scabby dog closely behind me, as I reached the top (red faced with beads of sweat dripping off me) there was around 40 locals taking pictures of the beach and ...

... of the Indian Ocean, and a mountain on each side with coconut palm trees and greenery all over, I had this epiphany. We are damn lucky to be here, honestly, It sure is different from any place I ever called home, however there is just something about it that draws you to it makes you wanna stay for longer. Needless to stay we are planning on staying for a while. :)
