      ... t some great scenery, there was, but even though it is a Parc de Natural the area is dotted with half completed, massive, hotel ruins.
      It’s absolutely criminal that developers have been allowed to trash this coastline. A lesson for Australia about inappropriate development in National Parks!

      We have started following the green lines (scenic routes) on the road map as we start our return journey north and east to France. Following these lines will keep us away ...

      ... for beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, a couple of paragliders, and the fresh new snow on all the peaks.

      This will be our last entry for this trip! If you've been reading along - thanks! We have had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the company of good friends Cindy and Ted McCord on these last 2 weeks of it!

      ... views that stretched to Switzerland and Italy, we also got a our first full glimpse Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe (4,810m). We headed back down and spent another hour or so thawing out at the first station plan de l'Aiguille which is in the middle level. With no snow about it meant we were able to walk around and explore.       this region are different and for me less enjoyable than those of Switzerland. I
      don’t enjoy heavy climbs without any scenery other than trees. Most of my climbs
      in Switzerland were accompanied by spectacular scenery which provides immediate
      reward for the effort. The good scenery today and last Monday didn’t start
