    We are off to Italy today. Anthony wanted to go through the Mt Blanc Tunnel, so on route we done many stopped to take photos and take in the views they were amazing, so beautiful. It takes your breathe away.

    ... a Chinese restaurant that he knew so we headed there -- yum! We got there just before a huge tour group arrived. We placed our order and then noticed a dish go by and Steven thought we should order it too --- the owner said they only made it for tour groups BUT...he would make an exception.     Guess who didn't set her alarm correctly? I arranged a taxi pick up at 05:45 and the room phone rang at 05:41 waking up Sandy to inform her that the taxi was downstairs. Apparently it is possible to get out of bed without hitting a snooze button. I was up and out of the room in SIX minutes and downstairs only to be told that there was no record that the hotel room had been paid.     ... spent 2 days travelling back to UK and again decided to take the back roads and avoid the tolls.     ... Italy's liberation from Mussolini. There are celebrations planned in the bigger cities but there doesn't seem to be anything here. Tomorrow is also about 20k.
