... towns we were passing by the streets were bare. I had noticed when we did come across people they were now wearing socks, boots and down vests...a big change from a week or so ago when we were along the Méditerranée splashing in the waves! Since our unexpected road closure yesterday we ended up bashing on further than we had expected which put us in line to start up into the Alps today! That means we could be in Italy by tomorrow morning.... ...
