... with our developing plan we get on the bikes and head to Cueno, our first Italian city. We have a few chores to catch up on and items to pick up, we busted the bike tire pump a few days ago, lost the pot, ran out of bug spray, and needed another bike lock. We tackled the pass today and made it to Italy! Woooo! The climb wasn't so bad. Breaking it into 2 days was a smart idea and worked well. It gave us time to rest, enjoy the sites, stop for pictures, and catch our breath. We started at 1400m and worked our way up to 2350m. My highest climb yet! I was pretty excited.
