... spectacular though I couldn't do much looking even though my speed never got above 25mph. Thankfully there were virtually no other vehicles on this road but even so it took 5 hours to get to my new destination.

The final thing I have been proud of is my increasing confidence in identifying a camp site from the directory and turning up without booking. I have had absolutely no problems until this day and so at the end of a long and really tiring drive ...

We arrived this afternoon after driving via Toulouse. The drive up the mountains takes two hours and is a combination of winding roads and tunnels a few times all you could see was a mountain 100 metres ahead and no obvious road until you go around a bend. Its one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. Snow all gone but now gearing up for summer hikers. Wine 2 euro a bottle, beer 2.50 a pint.I had a few electrical problems but after an hour with ...
