Today I crossed another wish off my bucket list. Ever since I was a little girl I remember my mum talking about wanting to go to Switzerland. Sadly my mum never made it, but I swore that I would do it for her. There were a few tears as we went over the border and I saw the alps for the first time. Old drink there before continuing to Hotel De La Forclaz. The hike ...

... I don't think it worked. We also saw the European headquarters of the United Nations and in front of this building the monumental "Broken Chair", which is a symbol for peace and freedom. It was then down to the lake front to see the "Jet D'Eau" , the water jet which shoots water 140m into the air. Unfortunately the foreshore was lined with fast ...

... br> The city was comfortable for us as tourists I think that the efficient public transport system combined with so many people using bikes and scooters and the wide streets made for a comfortable environment as pedestrians. The best thing for us was that as tourists we were given a free public transport pass once we got to our hotel, now that's got to be feel good thing!!

We happened upon each other in the afternoon after Allan had been ...
