TripAdvisor Reviews L'Oiseau Bleu Paris

... glass. It was so funky and didn't have that medieval preachy vibe to it. I think that the stained glass there might be my favorite stained glass of any church, temple, synagogue, mosque, or other building that I've ever seen.
When I had finished in the church, I wandered around the streets of Montmarte and could feel the old times. I could fool myself ...
... then caught the train to Abbesses and then the Funicular de Montmartre. There were over 105 stairs to get out of the station so everyone wimped out of climbing up to the Basillica. We wandered around the artist markets and marvelled at the many talented people. Then we enjoyed this view offered from this vantage point over a different part of Paris. We did walk back down the stairs to the train station.
Currently watching CNN and they had a report on Sam Burgess and the NRL. ...
... to go, our options were limited and so was the damage to our liquidity...
Thai flavours attracted us that night we really enjoyed the chilli again after so many baguettes, Cheeses and pate!
On Sunday, we had a really great walking tour with "Ute in Paris", a lovely lady who previously ran the Melbourne food & wine festival and now guides visitors to some of Paris' hidden gems. We had a wonderful day with her, some highlights were:
... we met Estelle and climbed Arc de Triomphe which honors those who fought and died for France in the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. The names of all French victories and generals are inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces, and beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Twelve avenues converge beneath the Arch, and the view from the top is worth the climb.
Zoe then went with Estelle to a special chocolatier and then to a confection ...
... Seville, when I heard someone whistle "Imagination" so I started to sing along, and we continued into a duet. I will never know who was outside that shower stall, and that makes me happy.
It was in the mornings that I bought a baguette for breakfast, always breaking off the top and eating it before I could reach the hostel. It was in the moments I would spend alone in a cafe, sipping an espresso and reading a book.
Happiness was every time ...
