The Metropolitan (Metro, for short) is Paris' subway system, one of the largest and most efficient public transit systems in the world. It carries over a million people a day within the city limits. It's makes travel in the city easy and quick. There seem to be Metro stations with a couple blocks of nearly anywhere you happen to be in the city. Even for someone who doesn't speak French (like us!), it's easy to get a map and figure out the 14 color coded ...

In the morning, its still afternoon for the Chennai office since they're about 5 hours ahead and in the evening I'm just about able to get folks in San Jose as they trickle in to work. ... we started in the Louvre, in the gift shop. The kids each chose two postcards of paintings they liked which was an interesting task in itself as they were presented with many images of the human body in all its glory! The boys particularly found this amusing and Milly was just horrified.
Next task, find them. We did seek the help of lovely lady who told us which rooms to head towards otherwise we would have been there for ages. It’s an amazing place to wander through. ...
