... to start celebrating Jim birthday a bit earlier and headed up the dune for a beach BBQ and to watch the sunset.
Today has been a pack up and travel day and we are now sitting down after a nice shower on our campsite in Tours. The washing is in the machine, we are having a beer and just about to start dinner - steak baguettes with onions, mushrooms and salad with chips from the campsite bar. 2 nights here and next stop Paris :-)

We arrived on time and passed through French customs with barely a glance as usual, followed by a long wait at baggage claim for our bags and bikes but it was far too early to check into our hotel anyway so no harm no foul. We all arrived in Dorval about the same time and went through the normal drill except that the bikes have to go through oversize baggage. Here are a couple of pictures of us hanging around the oversize luggage area. The flight left around 6pm and arrived in Bordeaux at 6:30 am French time.

The idea is to get into Spain today or tomorrow (depending how many beers I have) and get to explore the Basque Country. It's already apparent, the signs are in Spanish here as well and paella is on the menu in most restaurants - mmmmm!
