What I loved the most about Milan was the Duomo. This beautiful Gothic Cathedral left me speechless. I can't find the words to describe how beautiful and amazing this building is. It was just perfect and to know it was build such a long time ago makes it even more amazing.
I knew as I was leaving Milan, heading to Venice, I was about to have a life changing experience.
Today we walked about 10 kms round the western half of the city and suburbs from the hotel over to the canals (drains) of Navigli where had lunch in a recommended restaurant 'Ponte Rosso' and had a long lunch of shared plates.
