Caught train from Gare de Lyon for Annecy. Train ride was very pretty and arrived in Annecy around 1pm. Walked from train station to our beautiful hotel Imperial Hotel right on the lake. Dropped our bags off and then went for walk into Annecy.

It's all very white with a few hints of black and gray. ...

... bought for the entire week on the slopes!! They were happy and pretty awesome on the flight and through the airports. We arrived late and took the shuttle over the border to France and stayed at the Novotel. Dinner was late and we didn't get the kids to bed until midnight. They were so amazed by the tiny patches of snow when we arrived, it made them very excited, so after dinner it took a little while to calm them down.
