... Verdon Gorge but want to do it at sunrise to avoid any tight hiccups with other vehicles! Frankly we were really disappointed with the D17 southern road route named Corniche Sublime. We could only see the view of the Gorges at set points until almost the end when it opens up. Trees obscured the view for much of the way. Glad we did leave early though. Some of the hair pins would not have managed two large ...

Altogether it was a really good day and I managed to only burn my knees but in the process have decided that I am going to join a rowing club in Lyon because it is right beside my house and I will need some form of entertainment and socializing when I ...

... and shops. We made mental notes of all the good looking cafes/restaurants to eat dinner at. Our next stop was Paul Cezzane’s studio (Atelier Cezzane). The studio was a wonderful glimpse into this famous artist’s life and times. The studio is merely a biggish room but still preserves his furniture, cutlery/crockery, easels, paints and some of his works as well. The studio also displayed an original hand written letter from Cezzane to Monet where Cezanne apologizes ...
