This Veterans Day weekend we visited the American Cemetery and Memorial in Luxembourg. It is a beautiful cemetery and is the burial place for General George S. Patton. The cemetery and memorial is well preserved and honors the lives and memory of our brave military members.

In Luxembourg we visited several beautiful sites surrounding the Capitol City. Enjoy.

... made it to part of the service (not a mass) but all the monks were doing their chanting.

The drive home was something else....I've never seen such curvy, dark roads in my life! Somehow the GPS did get us home. Thank goodness the weather was cooperating because I can't even imagine if it would've been bad weather.

I plan on going to Luxembourg again once the weather warms up. There seems to be a lot to do there and some beautiful sights to see.
