My final observations
... as a travel alert had been issued for Bahrain. He insisted it was media hype and he was right. I feel very safe. Theres a particular road with graffiti along the length of it. Most of it has been spray painted over. Apparently the locals march/protest and this is the remnants of their handiwork. South African lady friend bought beautiful material, so I too got very excited at the prospect of having a new made to measure wardrobe and imagined going back with my wish list. God I wish I was rich.
Eventually we were Souqed out. I was relieved of some money but not too much and I had a fabulous time. Thank you Narelle and South African lady for showing me the sites!!!

This is the life!
... that hit me was the square, flat roofed houses in shades of white sitting in white sand. I felt I was really in the middle east, funny that, I was. The landscape was bleak, the road full of very expensive cars and there were sheiks on the sides of skyscrapers - a tad different to Victoria road.
