    ... around. We loved this town. Lots of really lovely cobblestones in different formations, big and small cobbles and lots of patterns. The buildings were fantastic and all the shops were open even though it was after six pm. We had a good ole look around and brought a sim card for my ipad from a very stroppy german guy. So far I've managed to register it but not to buy any more data so its all a bit frustrating. I will figure it out ...

    ... Colmar, which was pure video game, formula 1 in the lead with not a car in sight for a good 20 miles. I hear the USA is like this. Nobody ever mentioned France was the same. It is.

    ... ski fields and summer mountain bike riding! Not only that - 2 of the Tour de France stages is to be held here on 12th July, stages 8 and 9.

    We drove to the 1000 m above sea level point to view the lake, just amazing.

    From there we drove through cobbled streets of Munster and headed to Colmar, we wanted to revisit the Statue of Liberty and this time not drive past but stop and take a photo.

    ... br> We changed rooms today. The owners of the Chambre d'hôtes moved our rucksacks into our new room after we left for Colmar this morning. We have a cute little room with lavender paint and a great view of Eguisheim. We freshened up for a few minutes and then walked into town. Our first stop was a pretzel stand where we shared a large soft pretzel with some kind of melted cheese on it (further proof that my nutritional discipline has been ditched on this trip).
