Day One: 93km and 2300m of ascent
We couldn’t have asked for a better first day - perfect weather, no fitness issues and a steady climb to the finish.

None of us slept much last night because of a combination of jet lag and excitement so we weren’t feeling at our best but we knew that the adrenaline would keep us going which it did. We started in the little town of Ripoli on the Spanish side of the ...

After the tour, set off toward Andorra, another country when you might say "Where?" Andorra is on the ...

... mountain goat track (see pic) to the car & bike the vistas through the clouds made one feel you could have been in any mountains in the world. We eventually passed the other houses and neighbours in their village of Coulat. We turned the corner to their car and my moto. Met their closest neighbour "Bruno" again who wa off fly fishing and I was now feeling more confident of the French greeting so practised that on Bruno - ...

... our time there included a trip to the
pharmacy and 3 steri strips to Anya's head. She went flying off a spinning apparatus she was riding with her brother and father. After her fall, we left the kid's playground and went to the ski
basin where the extreme sports actually take place:) Che and Carlos rented mountain bikes, and the accompanying protective gear, and raced downhill. They said it was pretty awesome. Steri-strip girl and I zip-lined and road ...
