On Tuesday, a little reluctantly, we left our hammerhead in Crouesty and went in search of fuel, which was a challenge in itself. There was a reasonable wind blowing which spun us right round when we tried to get onto the fuel pontoon, forcing Mister Kitty to pull us onto the pontoon by our bowline while I tried to get us under control again. Then, of course, we discovered that the machines were broken and we'd have to wait a couple of hours ...

... KFC next door. KFC never fails to satisfy. Our walk home on heavy stomachs and me having to crutch Matt with a bad knee was heavily challenging, we both limped our way back to the flat, getting lost and having to retrace our steps before finally arriving, flopping on our couch and watching TV series. We left two days after, having to take a train to our next destination; Nantes.

... for lunch and dinners. He cooked us a nice meal then we had a few drinks and played cards. Really nice guy. Tonight we are cooking for him then we are going to a bar for a couple and check out the town at night. Vannes is lovely but you can see everything in a day really. We went inside a massive cathedral called 'ST Pierre' which was really cool and saw a lot of the old buildings around. One more night then we travel to Nantes for another ...

In case you were worried that yesterday's post was going to be the last after the catastrophy that was the night time cycle, we perservered after realising that giving up after a day was ridiculous! We had the worlds tastiest breakfast, having only eaten a packet of biscuits for dinner the night before, then set off at a much more sensible time of the day.
