      ... any given time the vista was impressive to look at. We dropped anchor with other boats just around the headland from the main town on the island. We did spot one inviting anchorage on the way which was in fact a ferry port. We did all this before 4pm and sat o. The boat relaxing and snorkeling for the rest of our leisurely day.

      ... me it was worth the agonising journey because at the end of it all we were able to walk through some truly impressive rainforest's. It was not the scale of say the Amazon, but was fantastic nevertheless. leaf cutter ants, gnarly wood, glistening spiders webs and dangling parasites were all on show.       ... the ocean with great ventilation and we could dine and relax outdoors quite easily. Dad had the mosquito coils strategically placed and lit at certain times. Once the sun goes down, Mum and Dad ensure we are covered up in long sleeves and pants and we all have mosquito nets which Mum and Dad inspect to ensure they are free from mozzies.
