The only thing I did in Nantes was pass by Les Machines de L'Óle. In the magical campground, a man told me to visit the machines but wouldn't say what they were for fear of spoiling it. The place was like a steam punk amusement park. Saint Michel Chef Chef is a tranquil sea side town. My first Bastille Day (July 14) was spend here.

Hurray! Sunny today. Decided to cycle to Le Gois this morning ready for low tide at 9:53 to see what it was like. On the way, we saw two otters ahead of us playing on the cycle path. As we neared the causeway, we could see cars parked at the side and probably about a hundred people raking like mad on the sand. We guessed they were looking for cockles or oysters.

We decided to go north to do the bike tracks we missed out the other day, calling in to the market at La Gueriniere on the way.
