... s in French is a la mode, right? For example the restaurant Au Bon Pain means To The Good Bread. Soo... Also we visited the Musee des Beaux Arts yesterday and today! And the Croix Rous, which is just another part of Lyon. The Dijon pictures start with the picture of me with the polar bear and end with the Arch de Triomphe picture. ... and whoever found "La Fève" (which is a small trinket of some kind hidden inside) is clamed king or queen.
I also got to celibrate when I got home to Ouroux-sur-Saône. My host mother made one with chocolate inside and we ate it hot. We also got to eat galette many other times in the month because the bakeries sell them a bunch.

... The river flows under the town at one point but we could not go down and look as there is too much water in the river at the moment. Meg had yet another carousel ride. There seems to be a carousel in every town and Meg always wants to ride them. I thought she would be over it by now.it doesn't even seem to matter if it is a tiny one aimed at littlies. Back early to get packed up. Off to Italy ...

... the taste of bad white wine. Personally I did not really enjoy the goats cheese which was part of my cheese course but Ryan loved it so cleared it up for me. The taste made me think of the smell of Hamish or Hercules in season! Our dessert was called delights of Dame Tartine (we think) and had four small pieces of different desserts to try, a berry sorbet, a tart Tartin, a choc orange kind of slice and a berry mousse sponge. ... good time. She was jumping from one pile of mole hill dirt to the next, getting her shoes covered in mud! Another, longer walk with the whole family this afternoon.
