    Today started in a very disappointing way, as we walked in to have our breakfast we were greeted with many hungry people. We found very little juice, no bread or hot food, very little cereal (many eating on plates and with forks due to no bowls or spoons), and one of our tour party clearing tables so many of us could sit down. Apparently having two groups eating close to each other didn't work, and the hotel didn't cope very well. On the plus side our tour director did say as ...

    ... lots of laughs and general cheekiness. The paddling pool and sprinkler have been well used too, as until today, it has been 32-38 degrees, which for this part of France is unheard of, and for as many consecutive days ( we've been here 12 days). Hot, hot, hot.

    ... we even decide to try one of her diversions, but that doesn't make much difference, we have a quick stop off along the way for refreshments and then more traffic stoppages but we finally make it to Tresques and to our Villa.....

    The rest of the guys head off for the super marche to stock up our cupboards, I stay home and get unpacked and get to grips with the washing machine and it's French ...
