... Unesco listed site but it didn't grab me, I did appreciate the engineering feat and the architecture however, Brendan LOVED it, he was totally in awe of this site. Weird, we are similar but different. So tonight we are bunking down at a farm just outside Nimes, we have electricity and wifi and the owner is a lovely French gentleman. This afternoon we sat and had a beer and soaked up the amazing late afternoon sun and said to ourselves, life couldn't get much better than ...

... is the main town of the Luberon mountains. Today was mostly about scenery and it really was spectacular at times. Very much like you see on the TV when watching the Tour, winding up and down mountains with sweeping views. We went through Cavaillon and then stopped at Apt for lunch. Today I forgot to set my alarm so hurriedly got up and went to get ready. I had my last breakfast with my family and gave them the card, SMC USB and the yummy chocolate I bought them from Carcassonne. The Frédérique dropped me to school with Hélouise. We recently decided that instead of going to Arles we would rather go to Nimes and then Avignon, and thanks to my savy couchsurfing skillz, we found a person to stay with a full 20 hours before we arrived.

Waking up at 8am instead of 9:30am or later makes a ...

... profusely thru the rest of the eve. After my decent meal, my waiter asked if I wanted anything-- coffee, etc. I said I'd just ordered a cappuccino (at 10pm? bad idea, Andrea), and he returned w/ it, all decked out w/ a pile of fresh whipped cream, and dusted. This was more than your typical cappuccino and I suspect it was b/c of my prolonged wait for my meal. Very nice. Hafta say, that this is the best capp I've had so far on the trip. And, no, not b/c of ...
