After getting use to the sound of hoot owls in the night we slept in until 8:00am this morning. We awoke to a low cloud level and cool temperatures but the promise of a sunny day lay ahead. After a pot of coffee (loved that after a month of espressos) and a light breakfast, we took a walk through the village of Noves.

Today I got up early and had breakfast at the hotel, then I walked to the bus station to take an 8:45 AM bus to Pont du Gard. The main bus station, called Gare Routiere, is located next to the Avignon Centre train station, under the hotel Ibis. I arrived early and bought the ticket from the information desk agent, she actually sold me a 10 euro pass which covered unlimited 1 day transport on A 15 bus and another bus going to Nimes (B- something, I forgot the exact number). ...
