    Hi lovely people,
As you all know we started hitchhiking on monday. We started in Antwerp and are know in the south of France, it took us three days to get here in Nyons. The people we met in the past days were incredible and very helpfull, all except the people in Paris. They were rude, not helpfull at all and hitchhiking out of Paris was like the Blair witch project movie all over ...

This was after the wine tasting (I'd monitored how much I drank!) and a lovely picnic brought to us from a French couple. I was the only gal who did the entire ride that day and the only one ...

... the Pont du Gard - the only remaining intact bridge with three stories of arches built as an aquaduct by the Romans to ferry water across the land; and Hell Valley, made of huge white stone rocks that created amazing landscapes. The whole day was stunning and showed us villages that we really would love to spend days exploring!

We had a few really windy days while in Avignon and discovered the Mistral - what they call this wind. Aude, owner of our apartment, told us that ...

    Sur Le Pont d'Avignon

One of my favourite places I visited in France, Avignon is such a beautiful old city. We stayed at an Air B'n'B rental within the ancient town centre, and were lucky enough to have access to a rooftop patio that looked out over the city toward the Palais de Papes. Had a lovely time strolling along the medieval ramparts, and the gorgeous wall of greenery in the city centre. Nothing bad to say about my visit to Avignon!
