... 50ft rock that the bridge lead to in the edge of the rapids was constantly and very noticeably being shaken by the river. The roar is deafening and the movement of the water is mesmerizing. We were lucky and got the rock on the edge of the river all to ourselves for nearly an hour. A nice little spot for a picnic. After a bit of rain the rocks are pretty slick, so do take care.

Sleepy Inn has been amazing, but it does require a bit of Chinese. The owner and her assistant don't really speak any English, but they are the most friendly "help" that I have encountered in China. The breakfast is amazing everyday and they will make pretty much whatever you request, as far as Chinese food goes. The western style breakfast is eggs, toast, preserved salted pork, and coffee. ...

Since we had already paid a significant entrance fee to get into the gorge, none of us were too keen on paying these women even more to take photos.
