... tomorrow as it was a public holiday. They were determined and even went to the kitchen to make a case. Later, the head chef Dharshan Munidasa arrived and after the staff spoke to him he came and talked to us which was very good of him. We cleaned most of the juices off, purchased the obligatory cap and t-shirts before side stepping the tuktuk touts and getting a couple of meter tuktuk's home. Sommige mensen zouden zelfs uit een Pizza Hut geweerd moeten worden... After all these reviews we are reading, looking for hotels, restaurants and attractions it is amazing that there is no app yet to review customers instead of the other way around. Some people should be banned even from places like a Pizza ...
... 7 is shut and the lights off. Curtains are drawn all around the ship and we have been instructed to close our curtains and not use balcony lights. All the washing is in off the balcony. We haven’t seen any armed guards but presumably they are here somewhere.
Clocks go back again tonight so we are hoping not wake either under attack from pirates or at 4 am (like this morning). We shall see what tomorrow brings!

One last cold beer required before returning to our hostel, 'In on the Green' - correct spelling apparently, then tuk tuk back only to collapse in bed at, what must have been, about 8pm to be woken at 11.30 by an apparent clap of thunder. We both thought it must be morning and, at 2.44 am, we still can't sleep. Now hungry and looking forward to breakfast... Best try and get some ...
