At the Bangkok airport, our bags did not show up so I left Tom to find the bags and I went out to see if I could talk to a ticket agent for Air China about extending Tom's departure date. I spent a frustrating hour without success at even being able to make a phone call to a representative, even with the help of three different passenger service agents. Their web site is totally unresponsive. Phone numbers do not wok. I would never travel with this ...

I had a "FaceTime " call from Richie last night as I was about to head down town for eats. This technology is amazing ,being able to see and chat in real time. ... last few minutes.

Our tour of Pattaya only included a trip via Speed Boat to Coral Island. On the way, we were given the opportunity to Paraglide or to walk along the sea bed but only a few people optioned to so due to the extortionate prices. The beaches of Pattaya and Coral Island again can be compared to the beaches of Benidorm, filled with sunbeds occupied by the very same Europeans roaming the streets. Activities at ...

... left, only to be met by a much better show outside; two girlie's from opposing bars having a fight! We stopped and watched, like typical tourists, until it was broken up by some other girls; excellent entertainment!

The next morning Lucy did some research on some other hotels and managed to find us an alternative that was cheaper, included breakfast and had a pool. We realised how important the pool was when we became aware that, despite being a ...
