Another glorious morning, woken by the knock on the door from room service at 9. Sorted showered and up on deck 13 by 9:45, light breeze, clear skies and 29C, very nice :-) Up on deck until 11:15 when we went to the talk on our second Malaysian port, Langkawi. We're hoping to maybe just find a beach here and relax after what will be two busy days in Singapore and KL. Talk was good, looks like a ...

I have been tracking Typhoon Haiyon and as predicted it tracked north well away from my location, but might cause some flooding in Cambodia later? The footage shown onTV here is horrific with thousands dead, pictures of bodies wedged up in the few remaining trees etc. Also it seems there is another one brewing up in South China Sea? Talking of brewing up I woke up yesterday not feeling quite right? I was having mild stomach cramps and a ...

We finished off a great day with a great home cooked meal; Alberta beef steaks, ocean fresh shrimp, corn on the cob, an amazing salad with goat cheese and red wine. It was the perfect combination of Alberta and Thai. Thank-you soo much Uncle for the best meal we have had since leaving home!

... duck and now its time to get home and have a shower!! Been a very hot day. Bought three gorgeous dresses today.. at R25 each.. who would have thought it would be so cheap here! But yet, the money still disappears!

We have discovered these pads for R1 from the seven eleven that you wipe on your body to keep the mozzies away - they work amazingly so we have stocked up.

... trekking. We plan on heading back to Bangkok on Friday to go to Khao San Road and get ready for the tour. We may also see the Golden and Black Buddha if time.

The mossies have finally got us too! Which really spoils going out in the evening, but we are armed with a ton of bug spray and hydrocortizone so will soldier on!

Will update you all with another installment again soon!
