We settled ourselves down on our pontoon and got down to toasting our success.
I'm in Casablanca now, it's 31°, Nantes was 12 °. It's brown like Australia, France was lush and green,I don't suppose they have great tasting strawberries here. ... for a quiet road we enjoyed rolling past the white-washed houses with red tiled rooves and azur blue shutters. As traffic increased we were very impressed with the courtesy shown to us by camper vans, cars and buses in waiting to safely pass us as we clung to the narrow shoulder!
We now have are first day behind us - 53 kl - and we have to admit that we're feeling a little pooped!!!
