Finally I have seen Mont Blanc with my own eyes! It's always been shrouded with cloud when I have been within any point where I could have seen it before. Indeed when we arrived at Saint-Gervais-les-Bains on Saturday it was still missing behind clouds and rain. Those weather conditions continued on Sunday, but when we woke up on Monday, we were amazed to find our house surrounded by tall, snow covered mountains.

... the location was small but the service was very nice. The latte at the end was delicious along with everything else. I really liked how they were kind enough to give us to go cups since we had no time to finish it. Very thoughtful people.
When we got back to the hotel, we showered, and changed to go to our farewell dinner. This was upsetting. I didn't want to leave. Lets all just stay in Switzerland forever, please.

Day 7 was one of the most memorable days of the trip. We drove to the city of Chamonix and took a couple of Gondolas up to the top of Mont Blanc for some incredible views. As we approached the peak of the mountain, everyone began to notice the altitude and how it effected us. Pretty much everyone got lightheaded. I was then surprised to see that we were having steak which I was definitely not expecting. It was a little rare as far as being cooked but was still a very good steak with dessert and everything.
