After our late arrival on the 6th we decided to use the 7th as a chill day and found ourselves on Seminyak beach, although we were originally heading for Kuta beach! Seminyak was lovely, loads of surfers and we got some local food (Mie Goreng) for lunch which cost us about 50p, Bargain. We then met ...

... sleep. We then spent the entire rest of the day in a hotel restaurant using and abusing their wifi, playing games and drinking hot chocolate to warm ourselves up. And there are vile vulgar unutterable slogans on t-shirts and bumper stickers, down right filth. And its all for these fat family Australian holidayers. Our final day in Bali was a good one. We rented a surf board and spent the entire afternoon until it got too dark to see in ...

... Melinda's birthday, turning 26 again. The day before we got brave and tried newbie surfing lessons via local boys Palau Biru Surf and were presented with a framed photo of our memory of the experience the next day! What a lovely surprise and masses of respect for those that can actually surf. We both lost skin off feet, hands, legs and ended up bruised and battered. One hour of trying to stand up on the 'foamy' wash and we were exhausted...and a ...
