... ladies, who while they didn't speak English, did very well at communicating with us. It's pretty amazing what can be accomplished with hand gestures and a few words. I filled out a form they had for me in English, and then they copied what I wrote in the spaces from the English form to the Italian form so they could read it. We spent our evening sitting by the main pool again and listening to the music. Every night they play music by the pool and it's the same rotation of European/Italian songs which EVERYONE loves and knows the choreographed dance to with English songs mixed in. The DJ also loves Bruno Mars and did a lot of singing over the music, which he butchered every time.
Banking issues aside, it was a pretty good day :)
... terrible and we spent more time trying to find a connection than actually looking at the internet or talking to people.
Our last activity of the day before we hit the hay was a late night swim in the tropical pool across from our room. It was set up to look more like a beach and we thought for sure we would get kicked out, but we didn't. Eventually we went back to the room and crashed for the night - it's hard work being in the sun all day!

At 5:30 we were able to board our ferry so we got directions and off we went. The boat was bigger than we expected and looks like it was an old cruise ship. We booked seats on the ferry as all the cabins were sold out except for the partially full ones, and we didn’t want to pay so much to sleep with strangers.
