... later, we'd explored every park, sit-upon ride thingy, and smelled every flower (they were gorgeous) to finally arrive at the museum. Each ticket was printed with a particular sport and funnily enough they were so highly appropriate!

Tony got the C-1 paddler, Talia the gymnast, I got the figure skater (perhaps a nod to my dance background..waaaaay back) and Avaia - got the high jumper, BUT if you turned it upside down, it looked like the monkey climbing ...

Getting back to the bike drop off - we decided that with some time on our hands, we would then go check out the Swiss Vapeur Park.

It is a miniature train park that we can see from our apartment balcony (yes…we are THAT central to kiddo heaven). It is super cute. At first, I expected one train to take you around the park and the rest would be an outdoor type museum of sorts. In reality, it is a miniature city with the focus ...

... in the World Cup tonight, so it should be a rare treat to see a bit of footie for a change. I have Germany in the family sweepstake, so there's no way I'll be shouting "Allez les Bleus" like everyone else around here.

One last thing: I heard my first cow-bells yesterday and today, and I'm still a few days short of Switzerland. It certainly makes a far more pleasing sound than the motor vehicles whizzing past me on the main roads. Thanks to Laurence, ...
