    ... tide pool. That was an awesome site! There were crabs-nothing like we have in Texas. They are green, orange and red with polka dots. Purple and white sea urchins lined the walls underwater. I tried to get pictures but most are blurry. I kept going and made it to an underwater cove with rushing deep waters. I'll try to post a video of this one.

    ... from jet lag, we got up to make most of the day. On our itinerary for today was to go to Hollywood. We got directions from the staff and headed to the train station. 30 mintues later we were on Hollywood boulevard. We were on the famous walk of fame with all the stars names!     From Long Beach it’s an hour long trip to Santa Clarita where Magic Mountain is and this Sunday started a bit cloudy and even cold outside. On the way there it even started to rain in a few spots but we’recommitted that today’s the day for Magic Mountain. It’s only open on the weekend days in this low season so it is now or never.

    ... freeways that go slow, pretentious people, and not good value for money. Food chains much the same although we don't have a walmart. To be honest we didn't see one but might have been nice to sample some local culture (people of Walmart) inside a store and check out the range of "heat".
    Today was a bit of fun but seemed rushed at every stop.
    Thankfully we were not like the huge Asian tour groups being herded everywhere.

    ... that the beds at Westin hotels are amazing and I have to say they are right. We fought over who was having the first shower and I really thought the four of us would end up in there together, but I won. Im the biggest so I managed to hold them down while I jumped in ha ha sucked in guys was all they heard. We decided to find food and have an early night so ofcoarse the first place we found was mcdonalds. The kids happy meals came in a halloween bucket ...
