Rain, rain, rain and some more rain

1st time in my live so much rain riding was practically impossible but other motordrivers pulled me through. Driving in the rain that comes down with such a quantity is very difficult. Inside of my helmet was wet, motorcycle was steaming but still i saw other mc's that were driving so i pulled through.

... toilet. Getting the car on board takes a little bit longer. The Hurtigruten is a service boat that goes from Bergen to Kirkenes up high in the north and back to Bergen in 11 days, but stops 33 times in between in each direction. It is more like a stop train, which means that cars can enter and exit at most places on the route and hence have to sorted in the right way to make sure they get in and out in the right order.

Not much to report, 650 km in 9 hours mostly through pouring rain. The extreme rain and consequent power wash of the fleetwood resulted in a partially flooded floor. Luckily nothing was stored there. Around 23:00 we found a nice camp site for the night, just before the rain (moving north) caught up with us. Welcome to mossy-hell Trøndelag :) ...

... from Australia, who noticed my Conserve School vest, and said that a young relative from Chicago was there. They had assumed that there were many Conserve Schools around the U. S..

Today the weather improved, and the views continue to be fantastic. The temperature is in the 30s, but with mostly sunshine, which is the prospect for the rest of the trip. A few samples of the many pictures I shot are below.

The coastal inner passage created the name of the country, as the WAY to the NORTH. We just passed the town of Rorvik a couple of hours ago. The sun sank below the horizon about 10:30, but it is still light enough for picture taking. In about three hours the sun will reappear.
