... All aboard by 5:30 so we finally head back to the cabin to nap before dinner.. We don't wake until 8pm and miss the group dinner (Sean woke up rather confused thinking it was morning and we needed to hurry to breakfast). We bump into the group after we eat who are headed back to the sky bar where we started last night. Seems most are going for another big night out, which we bail on, time for a decent sleep, we even get a sleep in ...

... Towards the end of our stay on Rhodes, we took a 55km bus trip to Lindos, which is about half way down the east coast of the island. It's famous for its ruins and its beaches. We could have taken the donkey up the mountain but one whiff of the donkey poo in the 35 degree heat put paid to that! We admired the ruins from afar that day and instead headed to the local's beach to swim in the clear water and for Andrew to do bombies off the rocks!

... medieval castle walls atop the site of the original temple and it's surely a worthwhile historic place to visit, despite the crowds. In fact, many of the people that day were actually staying at Lindos as opposed to other wonderful towns on Rhodes. Which we soon learned all about.

After a pleasant stroll back through town that seemed less burdensome since we were now the ones going downhill we visited the historic Orthodox church. Lynn and I both were required ...
