... took an hour but we got to see some lovely areas of Paris that we would not have necessarily seen. We got to Notre Dame and went in. We did well as it was a Sunday morning so there were services. My gosh this place is just huge and the organist was playing and the music I find rather creepy. Our mains were delicious, I had the roast duck and Amy the beef and we both had peach Melba for dessert. In between the mains and ...

Meaning of manic frantically busy; hectic. "the pace is utterly manic" This is how I describe Paris, I have never seen everything like it before. The roads are unbelievable; cars, buses, taxis, motorbikes, push bikes and people all trying to merge into the same area at once and unbelievably all seem to get to where they are trying to go without any major drama. There might be the odd beep of a horn and a quick dash of a pedestrian across the street but overall it seems to work, ...

    American Goodbye Brunch

Today was one of the last times I would get to see Tere before she left our YWAM team. So what we did to celebrate our time together was just a few of us decided to go for breakfast with her at a place called Breakfast In America. This restaurant is fantastic, and the closest that I came to a real American breakfast for the whole time I've been here. It was because of this ...
