... From here we found our way through the St.Germain streets to the Montparnasse Tower and Galleries Lafayette. The tower was great but the other not so much. Finally back on the metro home for a cuppa and rest. Next big decision what cafe for dinner! Tomorrow we have booked an afternoon escorted train tour to Versailles Palace and Garden so morning will probably be along the Seine river market/book sellers. Anyway thanks for the comments and ...

Our last full day in Paris on this end of the trip, we headed towards the art Museums. First stop - breakfast for cafes et croissants. A beautiful way to start the day. And we needed all the sustenance we could get.
The d'Orsay has a wonderful collection. It is housed in the gorgeous old train station. We started with the Post-Impressionists and saw many Van Gough's, Gaugin's and countless others. We all wandered at our own pace and eventually ended up on the 5th ...

... our apartment to the Seine River. We stopped along the way so I could show Steve the building where the girls and I had stayed in 2009. Too bad we couldn't go in. We walked past the flower shop and bakery that I recognized. We ate dinner at one of the first Paris restaurants where I had eaten with the girls, Dell Angelo. It was a beautiful evening. We've had great weather every day and we are hoping tomorrow's forecast of rain is incorrect.

... day will see us make a short hop of just over an hour to Jacksonville in north Florida arriving at around 1910 local time.

Before we catch our homeward flight we have about 4,000 miles of driving to do as we travel across ten US States from Florida to California taking over four and a half weeks. Very little of this trip will be a repeat of any of our previous USA holidays with the exception of visiting Las Vegas which we last did ten or so years ago so it ...
