... definitely comes in handy when we travel! He was able to navigate us back to Pret a Manger without difficulty and we noshed on soup, sandwiches and salad. You must learn to give the African trinket sellers "the Parisian stare" as they will continually badger you if you engage with them in anyway. They exist in quite large numbers but are mainly centred around either the Eiffel Tower, Versailles or Notre Dame. ... find the the lines of people waiting still stretched back forever. We head back to our apartment for a rest and something to eat before going for an evening walk. We walked by the Seine, crossing on the Pont du Carroussel bridge that looked magnificent in the early evening, walking back to the Eiffel Tower where we enjoyed a crepe for our desert, and watched the evening lights luminate the tower.
