... and after weeks of wall-to-wall sunshine, we have had some very violent storms and this seems set to continue for at least the next week. The pattern seems to be very hot clear weather in the morning with cloud coming around lunchtime and then a storm from mid afternoon. Goodness knows we need the rain as even the mountain grasslands are yellow and the mountains feed the rivers in the Lot and Garonne, where we hope to spend most of August on the boat.
