Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France inea34... wonder what the history of these buildings is. Built in the 13th Century they’ve seen a lot of changes and different owners. Now they house postcards and toy swords. Sometimes I wonder what of our daily lives will be worthy of the history books…

The next day Brain was well enough to cycle. Thankfully it was an easier day rolling through a nice flat valley with a killer tail wind. Another wine region there were vines all ...
Vic-la-Gardiole, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 2totango... Around 3 am we decided to call it a night (I know, grandpa JerBear going home early, right?). I go back to my barren apartment (more like my cloister) and go to bed.

Overall, it was really nice to spend the week on my own, in a big city, with people that I knew. I felt very independent and I am going to miss it. But I can't complain, as I am leaving for India in a week. Next time you hear from me, I'll be a true Indian raggamuffin.
Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France emmasadventures... mine a variety of glaces including licorice, topped with finely shaved licorice. The waiter explained when we were ordering that the chef considered cooking to be an art, and in the manner of a painter, he arranged the food as though it was on a palette. Hence the name of the restaurant.

Narbonne
Our friend Susan Flintoff had recommended a restaurant in Narbonne, called Le Petit Comptoir that she and Brett had enjoyed last year ...
Alors ...
Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France cerise... to be filled with kite skid marks. Just as we arrive a school bus of kids quickly follow us. A PE lesson consisting o3 x 4min runs for each kid. We quickly make it into a game, and me supporting the Bill Gates look-a-like its no surprise my kid came last. Kite flying was fun. Andrei improved loads since Denmark and Lisa ended up face down twice. Go figure. But the fun didn't last forever, we got moved on by what I can only presume is the school keeper. I reluctantly packed the kite up ...
Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France sian_ripleyMontpellier to Le Ruble July 17th Peter had a bath which made his knee feel much better and then a lovely breakfast at the hotel. Gerda and Jan-Erik had of course been for a long walk. Such energy. Peter was keen to see what the beaches were like south of Montpellier, It took us some time to find, a few wrong turns and misdirection's by our 'lady' and co-drivers. When we did find them it was well worth while. We were driving a ...
