    First we had to negotiate ourselves out of the car park and into the Aires car park, which we did with much miming and sign language, our French not being as good as our poor German. Clermont-Ferrand, we discovered, is Michelin tyre city. The head office and an enormous factory were situated just next to our camp spot.     Caleb went on an outing with 10 or so other kids to the Museum Le Coq. He learned about minerals, birds and lots more. It was organized by the Sable Show people. Evening time was Sandball for the adults. A guy was wearing a Montreal Canadians T-shirt sober named our team The Canadians!!!
