I managed a short run this morning which was nice. New shoes are fast! We went to the outdoor flea market as it was rained out last week. I was surprised that Caleb was game until he equated the market with where I got him World Cup cards the week before. He twisted my arm until we went and got more. Out of the first 2 packs or 12 cards we got six doubles - boo hoo. There was a fellow with a big truck making rotisserie chickens and ...

Soon he will beat me at everything...just not yet :) The sky was getting dark and I saw some lightning so we rushed home which was a good thing as a few minutes later there was a downpour with a heavy wind, thunder, lightening and of course HAIL... The shutters and windows flew open and Christine got wet hanging out of the kitchen window trying to get the shutters closed. Time for a shower and bed... What a ...

... are in the blood...hmm. Caleb and Christine enjoyed How to Train Your Dragon 2 at the cinema. I took the time to try my new running shoes out. Caleb and I then went to play some more Pètèca at Sable Show. Kassim and his cousin were there and played too. I seem to have landed funny and hyperextended my left knee. Why not have another body part that aches :) Sleepy ...

... could not handle. Caleb got Christine on for a few spins and we ended up almost seeing Christine's breakfast again - why does spinning for adults feel so awful??? After a rest and a pizza at home we wandered over to the Sable Show where we all teamed up and were kings of the court playing a game in the sand called Pétéca (Brazilian they told us). Nice and tired now...time for The Amazing Race ...
