    Laura, Iain and Sophia's last night before the ferry home and Steve arrived, looking tired until a few red wines were sunk..! We visited Parthenay where the young family went swimming and I later heard all about the pitfalls of a young child and that swimming pools, swimming costumes and baby sick don't mix...     Lovely couple of days with Di, Laura, Iain and Sophia at the Daniels French House... All was well until I left them for a hour and then all hell broke out...     ... not a cafe or ice cream shop in sight! Chilled back at the site (seem to be doing a lot of chilling lately!) only got Tinternet on the iPad so no pictures from the camera till we to Paris. Tea was a bit bizarre, see the pic!!! Safe to say won't be having that again after 1 wok and 2 frying pans and a husband melt down later!     ... way away. We went to beaches and did wave surfing on our bellies. It was fun but I kept getting water in my mouth and it tasted disgusting. We tried oysters and they were disgusting, about the same as the sea water. They looked all slimy and they were inside shells. We bought sunglasses, I have black ones with fake diamonds on the side.

    ... the staff thought they were mad as the pool was not heated and the water was not that warm - my guess is we would have been the first to jump in the pool for the season! They made quite a big deal about unlocking all the doors to get to the pool.
