    Na afscheid te hebben van de beestjes, zijn we rond 8.15 uur op pad gegaan richting de Franse kust.

    ... days - once it has stopped raining - to cut back and trim etc, to gain access easily. Even the Mercedes started first time having sat around for many days unloved.

    ... eight french speaking people was a challenge of understanding and patience but two of the guests were pilgrims doing 2 weeks per year hiking the camino and they had a little english to go with Laurie's little french so we got on fine until the politics came out and it got beyond our capacity.     ... spring when it was still very cold, wet and wintery, spent many hours sanding and painting the lovely old wooden shutters downstairs.
