    ... how far it is until you round a corner you come across a clearing with a large rectangular alignment of low stones and just off to the left there he stands alone. Most of the other Menhirs have been fenced off to protect them from the public, but you can have an up-close encounter with Le Geant du Manio as he doesn’t have a fence around him. So we gave him a hug and I took a photo of Doug standing by the 6+ meter upright stone. Quite impressive.

    ... be leaving tomorrow. Bit rough round the edges for us. Can't wait to get back to the countryside Had a fab meal tonight. Guess What I ate? Only lobster! I can't believe I finally ate it.     ... s so giant that it takes 40 people at a time), we decided to leave early and plan an afternoon exploring Nantes while waiting for our elephant ride... ...turns out the tourist advice is spot on- we arrived at 11, queued until 12 and managed tickets for the 4.30pm ride. It was absolutely spectacular though! Loved by all Vance and Giraud members, perhaps a little more feared from the Vance family, but an awesome day out for ANYONE travelling through.     ... times longer than usual. Even on a major road, it was bumper to bumper traffic. We did not arrive back at our hotel until 1:30pm. It was quite a day and night!!

    Puy du Fou receives no government funding and we will need to research more about its founder and the current association, as we believe he/it is heavily involved in humanitarian work in Vietnam and Madagascar.

    ... live theatre, Sovereign Hill, Circus, Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary, Botanic Gardens, Sentosa Island in Singapore and New Year's Eve in Melbourne. Now that makes it sound quite unique and it really is!!! It takes up 45 hectares and has a separate area of 27 hectares for an evening show called the CinÚscÚnie, which we are seeing on Friday night.
