    We left San Saen with plenty of information from our host who gave us very good ideas about what to see and do on our travels . Our first stop was Dieppe , not the city or port fortunately because it is a really big place , but a chateau on a bluff overlooking the city a great view and we found it with little trouble!     ... an elderly passenger asking if I'd help them with something. It's becoming almost expected.     ... rushed ....self imposed.....so punched in the first museum I saw in Caen into the gps...off I went....bada boom bada bing...I was at the Castle of Caen....k not a D-Day museum.....but was really cool....wandering around castles is fun. Hard to believe that this city was pulverized while being liberated.... and it wasn't really very far from the beaches but it took the Allies 6 weeks to get here...

    So off I went a wandering...inside the castle ...

    ... was really something to be there. I too it in and the sun was setting so it was time to find me hotel and some food.
    The ride is so cool...windy roads....lil villages....and eventually I found me way to me hotel...Hopped off...and wandered to a restaurant. Found a Creperie....OMG!!!!! Was it ever good.....some drinks and time to find the hotel bar to relax.....needless to say I staggered to me room and sleep was pretty easy to find. What a ...
