Larry and I visited the village hairdresser Mille de Coups yesterday and managed to ask the hairdresser to color my hair and for Larry to have a trim in our broken French! The locals are all know that we have arrived and news has got around about the deux Australians staying in Le Rachet! They are all very friendly and very understanding of our poor French!

We plan to take it easy and enjoy the village and make day trips while we are ...

... out for the week, and a couple from Australia on a 6 month tour of Europe. It was great touching base with them.

Tomorrow I plan to visit Amboise but knew it was too far to reach today (France is huge!), so I made my way to Laval and have stopped here for the night. In my effort to loose one weight this trip I have stopped for a pint and a burger, not sure where I read about this diet but it seems very nice!
