... past and present. The attention to detail is amazing and many times the theming out here is better than in the America parks. These two parks were excellent and we would be excited to come back to them in 5 years or so to see the additional expansions and improvements.

... to bathe. All this in Paris for just a mere $60 and it is considered a steal. I just hope I don't get $60 worth of bedbugs tonight. The impression I had of Paris in my head before I landed is nowhere near what I have found in reality. The people are actually quite nice and the streets are not laced with dog **** every two steps. ... and I head back to the USA. The trip has been uneventful so far. We hope it will continue to be that way as we arrive in Africa. The flight was not full, so Bernard was able to find three empty seats on which to stretch out. I slept pretty well on two free seats. I think we slept about three hours in all. I think we'll nap on the flight to Lomé. I'll plan to keep this travel blog up to date and will post photos as well, so check back from time to time.

... at night. A splendid light show. And amazing how many people are wandering around the grounds of the Louvre at 2:00 in the morning. I don't think either Chris or I know anyone who has been to the Louvre at that time. We have. While we may have squandered our daylight hours, we were determined to make the most of what we had left. We eventually returned, went to sleep around 5:00.
