Bonjour from France.
We have seen such a lot in this past month that it is difficult to know where to start.
Coming by boat from Corsica, we arrived at Toulon in the south of France. Holidays had just commenced in Europe, so we quickly jettisoned the mad, hustling crowds, and the 36 - 40 degree Mediterranean heat and hastily headed north - east, to the mountains, where it was marginally cooler.
We are still enamoured ...
... room for Charlotte and Bobby, our bedroom has a balcony if only we were awake enough to have a bottle of wine lol. When we arrived we checked in and got ourselves into the pool in double quick time. That was a lovely treat after all those miles. For tea we went into a nearby village called Florenville. We found a great Italian and had a beautiful meal! Yum!!! Bobby It was a long day travelling but we got there in the end to our luxurious ...

Had a wonderful night's sleep as the hotel was very comfortable. We met Melinda and Michael for breakfast and then went our own ways. The first bus took us around the champs élysées and then we changed buses to go to Montmartre because we hadn't been there last time.
When we arrived there, the amount of people was chaotic! Very touristy area but ...
Monday morning dawns clear and sunny, and we set off for Charlesville de Meziers.
Apart from some heavy traffic, on the outskirts of Lille, a completely uneventful drive.
The Aire at Charlesville de Meziers is full, so, we have to use the adjacent campsite (Camping Mount Olympus ).
We have time for a walk into town, and a beer, before the rain starts.
