... canals with an un-ashamed modern-day Venice feel to it. (Google Port Grimaud) It was quite pleasant. After a little re-hydration on the beach at an appropriate establishment, we wandered around the village on our bikes and eventually saw a very attractive restaurant right on the edge of the canal, and obviously popular as it was filling-up before our eyes. ... Amazing.

Once we got back and showered, the four of us (including Charlotte, their daughter) took a little stroll through town. Full of sail boats, great little restaurants flanking the seas edges, people people watching... They live in a fantasy world.. minutes away from Cassis, another fantasy world.

Come visit France.. its gorgeous.

But that had not arrived yet and we had to wait. The flight was in eventful, the taxi was there and we had a smooth drive home. Sad the lively holiday is over, glad to be ...

... the swim we had our baguettes that we had made but I didn't eat much of my bread because I was feeding it to the fish. We hired a blue pedal boat for two hours. We pedalled down into a canyon. The canyon was about 1km from the beach. I put my hand in the water because I needed a swim because it was so hot but the water was freezing. We left the canyon to find some warmer water to swim in. There were some big fish in the lake. They looked like Salmon. ...
