Decided to take a morning excursion to Cassis even though we planned to disembark a day early in Marseille - turned out to be a great decision as we probably would not have bothered to get ourselves there on our own, & it is a beautiful town! Especially loved the little boat trip to three of the closest calanques. Soaked up the sunshine at a waterside café then wandered through the narrow back streets & through the bustling local market.

We went back to the hotel, got dressed and headed out to tea. We ended up eating at this really good place, I had chicken nuggets and so did Olli. Then we had a glace and they give you a lollie pop to finish as a surprise. It was so busy in town. All the shops were still open at 10pm at night. We watched the artists in the market and headed home to bed.
