A bit of a rest from driving today - we enjoyed the neighbourhood of Verdon first by taking an electric boat out. It was peaceful but a bit windy. So sailing would have been better!

We left the coast of Cote d'Azur behind for the mountains on Haute Provence today, driving via Grasse first, and visited the Perfume museum of Fragonard, learning the production process of perfumes. It's worth a visit if you haven't been before - and the guided tour is free.

We quickly bought some snacks and left. The mega-giant-super-supermarket was too much temptation for our greedy eyes and full wallets.

A nearby McDonalds provided is with 'coffee' before we rushed back to the ship - making it with only moments to spare before the gangway was pulled up.

... couldn't let them which they were not that happy about. It was such awesome fun that we think we will do it again tomorrow and be a bit more organised. ... the swim we had our baguettes that we had made but I didn't eat much of my bread because I was feeding it to the fish. We hired a blue pedal boat for two hours. We pedalled down into a canyon. The canyon was about 1km from the beach. I put my hand in the water because I needed a swim because it was so hot but the water was freezing. We left the canyon to find some warmer water to swim in. There were some big fish in the lake. They looked like Salmon. ...
