We got up early despite the kids loud opposition to go to the catacombs. We went yesterday and there was a 3-4hour wait . So we left. ... was actually 5 ft 7 which was average height for those times and taller than myself. He was a man that graduated from the military school in Paris at 15, very intelligent & worked his way through the military ranks eventually crowning himself Emperor.
