    Culture Day

... Ended up being an hour late into Paris, but the good news is that they have offered a single fare as compensation - nice! We did go to the bar and have a beer and bag of chips to fill in the time. Jeff and Tim were back from the Loire and ordered in a pizza so by the time we got home at midnight, pizza was waiting! It was late by the time we got to bed but a great day. Jeff apparently also had a great day, although a lot of driving and even went swimming in the river! Steph ...

We were overlooking the Beaujolais wine region while eating baguette, cheese and ham with a bottle of red wine. Very French. We could easily adapt to the French lifestyle of this is a snap shot of what it's ...

I'm trying to get my fill of mulled wine, as I'm not sure if you can get it much after Christmas. The Eiffel Tower was ...

... pie and of course bottle of rose! Then It was time for our cooking class. I had done an advanced French dessert class a couple of years ago with Christine and shouted Georgie and Sarah to the basic French desserts. It was fun but I tended to be an observer, rather than participant! We made Creme brûlée, hot chocolate fondant, fanciers, chocolate ganache with raspberry topping and a Saint Honore. Got to take a few home and ...
