Anyway we found our hotel and we upograded our room to have a kitchen so that could cook and rest and stay in a little before we go off to Morroco. So thats what we did we went to the supermarket ...

Daniel then insisted that I have some dessert and I agreed, if he would share it with me. I knew they were planning something else because the chef kept pointing at me and I knew what it was for, I slipped up and told him earlier in the week. They brought out a small 'cake' with one candle for my birthday. Then they sang me, along with the rest of the customers in the restaurant, happy birthday in French. How embarrassing!

I spent a nice day with Daniel. He took me to have a look at the castle that overlooks the town, it is made from a kind of red rock whiwh comes from a nearby mountain.
He also drove me up to the top of one of the mountains where we walked to the top of another hill to take a look at a statue commemorating Jean 'D Arc. I was also treated to a piece of pie- a sweet pie- covered in these purple berries which the restaurant is famous for. There were few people around ...

... It is heaven.

Since I have time I will cover some of the annoyances I have found in France particularly Paris. You can't go to a tourist spot without being annoyed by the African men who try to sell rubbish to you ( which people unfortunately do buy, therefore they will always be there) or try to sell you cheap tricks (there is one thing concerning a ring and a string which I always ignored). So here I am sitting at Jen,s watching Paul and the boys swim and loving every minute of it! This was automatically more relaxing, although Naveed won,t let me nap, he does offer an awesome cuddle.

Last night we relaxed on the patio of their wonderful house and had delicious Iranian food with Mariam, Hussein,s mother. She tries in vain to teach me some Farci, I am not a quick learner.

... room. i had planned this part of my trip around being in zurich so that i could see the show and had been in contact with francoiz before hand so i was able to get in on the guest list. it was absolute ecstasy to be there, unfortunately i had to bail as soon as it finished to catch the last train back to zurich, but one of the best nights in my life. it didnt take long to find a ride back to the next down where the rail line began again.
