... Andrew and Stew went shopping and bought a number of white wines from the large wine aisle in the supermarket, only for us to find that it was the dessert/sweet wine aisle. Plenty of cooking wine anyway. Tina and I had a girls morning in Sarlet to check out the markets and shops and enjoyed a pleasant sit down lunch WITHOUT KIDS! On the Thursday the boys spent the morning golfing and we entertained the kids in the large garden. The ...

Lyon, bustling, shiny, vibrant. e pulled into a brand new marina which from the outside looked like a posh estate being built. Turns out it is the centre of a huge shopping mall and riverside flats in all the colours the designer could find in Autocad. He also played with the other buttons because along the river we have the swiss cheese building, the iron lumpy one next to the lumpy one painted gold. Green glass tiles? It is very impresive. The marina is small. but the ...

We wake up when it gets too bright outside to sleep. We use our pasta box and rice box from yesterday to microwave some Yum Yum egg noodles for breakfast. A little after 10 o'clock we start looking for rides going the direction of Bordeaux.

I go to ask a piece of cardboard from the shop inside. The guy went to the back and was away for quite some time looking for a piece of cardboard for me. Finally he comes back with a huge piece of cardboard! I take ...
