      Thursday 29th
      Today I had my first class (Travel Photography) which is an Elective through the USAC program. This class is taught in French but it went well. I also got my scores from our placement test today and I did better than I expected (Low Intermediate>Elemetary/Beginner). I talked to my French conversation partner tonight and we need to set up a time to meet.

      ... The bathrooms and showers stunk of **** and had actual pieces in the basin. You have to buy wifi here at the bar so was going to do that but couldn't cos apparently they were fixing the line or something. So even if we bought it, we wouldn't have been able to use it ...

      ... first time, which is the public bike system they have here. I paid the 15 euro sign up fee, and now I can get a bike from one of the 300+ stations all over Lyon (including one right outside my door) and use it for an hour, returning it at whatever station
