... in Nantes. His museum was actually pretty cool and had a lot of illustrations from his stories. I didn't know much about him but I'd say he was the guy who inspired "steampunk". Last time I was here, I couldn't walk yet. Now I can, yey!!





The Christmas market is so cool. Lots of people offering all kinds of stuff. I got to try roasted Chestnuts, sugar pretzels, and all sort of treats.





The lights are even prettier, but I wasn't allow to put them in my mouth. Bummer.

... architecture and space design. The Les Machines is the most amazing thing I have seen so far- a mechanical, life size elephant which moves mechanically as well! I would have loved to have seen the full exhibition, but the frugal life of travellers keeps our hands in our pockets. I would though, of course, recommend it to everyone. Its a "travelling show" and exhibits internationally.

... south , that the whole boat marina empties of water at low tide, and every boat was left ‘high and dry’- one would have to chose carefully, when you wanted to take your boat out!!!!.
